Tilli was bred by my good friend Lone Wandel in Denmark, and her arrival to Finland was a result of a puppy exchange. Little did we know how important this exchange was - for both Lone and I. It was clear from the very beginning that Tilli would live at her co-owner's, Jaana Lepikkomäki.
Jaana showed Tilli actively in junior classes and Tilli gained several titles. In adult classes, shown sparingly, she got international plus many national championships. Summer 2009 I bred her, as my plan had been to mate her to my old Gazon dog. Dave was already 10 years and at that age you never know how long time you have left.
Tilli herself has a lot of body, an excellent frontpiece and a very nice coat quality. Combined with Dave's short compact body they produced a beautiful litter of five in August 2009, three boys and two girls. I placed one of the girls in breeding terms, she became Fi Ch Serene Summer Romance (Ronja), mother of two litters. Ronja is pictured below left. The other girl, Zara, pictured middle, could not be bred due to a congenital (not hereditary) disorder, but we did show her to C.I.B.Fi, Ee Ch Serene Midsummer Dream. One of Tilli's boys stayed at home and he is Mille, my cover boy at "Dogs" page. Mille is officially C.I.B. Fi, Se, Ee, Lv Ch Ee JCh Serene A Million Dreams. Mille sired one litter out of Jade, Fi Tr.Ch Serene Silver Dreams. From this litter came Fi Ch Serene Dream Another Dream "Carlos".
Tilli's co-owner Jaana bred her in 2012 and got five puppies as well. Jaana has continued the line through one female and hopefully I am able to add something to this page later, as I'm planning to mate Armi to Tilli's son. But so far Tilli's line continues mostly through Ronja.
Ronja's first litter was sired by Gb Sh Ch Se Ch Sundust From Me To You "Robbie". Booked my trip to Gothenburg based on pictures, pedigree and information from Robbie's breeder only, I fell in love with Robbie's character as well as his exceptional plush head and correct rear that you rarely see nowadays. Ronja gave birth to three boys and a girl on April 12th 2012 - "the spring litter". Three of them were shown to their championships, Ringo aka C.I.B. Nord & Balt Ch Serene Bring Me The Spring stayed at home and is nowadays living at my mother's. Ecco, Fi Ch Serene Suddenly It's Spring, also had a nice show career but later he broke out with epilepsy. Their sis Fi Ch Serene Spring Of Life, Jaffa, had a litter of two pretty girls but that stem will not be continued.
Two years later I leased Ronja for another litter. This time I used a handsome and elegant black Fi Ch Statesman Trick Or Treat. I got three beautiful buffs. Both boys got CCs, but Nico, Fi, Ee, Lv, Lt Ch Ee & Lv JCh TlnJW-15 BaltW-17 Serene Tricks R For Kids also gained several CACIBs. Once again I placed the only girl, Eden, in breeding terms. Eden matured very nicely and she became Fi & Ee Ch Serene Trick Of The Light.
The next generation arrived when I bred Eden to Ch Silverhall Salutation. Seven black "lights" were born in February 2017. Just youngsters, some of them have already been shown with very nice results. Iines, Lt Ch Serene Light Up The Night, shown very sparingly, even got two CACIBs and a res-CACIB from Lithuania and has two CCs from Finland. My chosen girl placed in breeding terms is Nila, Balt JCh Serene Moonlight Shadow, who also has two CCs as well as the brother Sauli, Balt JCh Serene Lightning Strike. Overall a very nice litter. So happy with them.
